Angela & Cameron’s Engagements

This advanced engagement session is so incredibly different than most; I am so in love with it!!  Angela and I had spoken quite a while before the shoot and originally we were going to go to the State Fair of Texas, however they don’t allow portrait shoots.  So, needless to say our plans were altered.  We thought…maybe a carnival, which would have been just as cute.  Then, she came up with the idea of fishing, which I LOVED!  Cameron and Angela love to camp and fish, so it was only fitting that we would do a session that showed something they loved to do together.  She mentioned a pond and dock and my first though was the Red River in Denison, TX.  She was game and we found our location!!

Carpenter’s Bluff in Denison, TX, turned out to be the perfect location for this lovely couple.  It was just before sunset and the river wasn’t generating so we could walk out onto the sandbars.  It was PERFECT…besides a little wind and a few crazy four-wheeler riders, we had plenty to work with.  😉

Cameron is a longtime family friend, so this shoot was extra special to me.  I only hope they enjoyed this shoot just as much as I did.  I wish them both a long and happy marriage!  I can’t wait until the wedding!!  Congrats for finding true love 😉
